The chairman of Japan’s Sasakawa Peace Foundation described Tehran-Tokyo relations as historical Saturday and voiced the Foundation’s readiness to promote cooperation and interaction with the Iranian side in different areas.
Sasakawa Peace Foundation introduces itself as a private Japanese foundation that strives to strengthen cooperation at all levels between Japan and other countries to ‘freely explore ideas and methods in its pursuit of new forms of governance for human societies,’ as said by the SPF Chairman Nobuo Tanaka.
The Foundation is after implementation of its agreements with Iran, Nobuo Tanaka said in a meeting with Iran’s Ambassador to Japan Morteza Rahmani-Movahed.
Iran’s ambassador, too, presented proposals for strengthening cooperation with the Japanese foundation in tourism development and introducing Iran’s tourist attractions to the Japanese people.
The two sides also discussed ways to widen scientific cooperation, hold scientific discussions, exchange university students and professors and work on entrepreneur projects with Iran Center for Women and Family Affairs.
